Hi there,

Could you anyone provide a example of usage for this setting ( Short-Term interval forecast can be used for scheduling ) under the Forecast module for GC WFM? I understand that the maximum number of weeks for the forecast is 6, but it allows users to extend the date range to be longer than 6 weeks ( long-term interval). I would like to understand better how this check box play a role on defining different results for the Forecast.

It is simply a way for an admin to either allow the forecast to be used for scheduling purposes or not. I.e., governs if that forecast is or is not selectable in the generate schedule interface

Thanks, so this would be useful to create "test scenarios forecasts" that should never be used for scheduling?

Could be something as simple as testing out scenarios and not wanting those to be potentially utilized for schedules. One other scenario is if you have a specific longterm forecasting team and a specific scheduling team. The longterm forecasting team may be evaluating large business impacting items and they do not want that to be used for scheduling until assumptions/changes are confirmed.
