Genesys Cloud - Main

The subject pretty well says it all. I'm using Scripter.Open URL in a script. I set the window width and height properties just how I want them. When I developed and tested it in my browser, it all worked great. Our agents all use the Genesys desktop app, though, so the final part of testing is to test it in the app. The app does not seem to honor those properties. It opens the URL in a window like it's supposed to, but it's at 800x600 regardless of what I set the width and height to. I have version 2.48.900.0 installed.

Is this known behavior? Is there a way to get the app to honor those settings?

I've s "scripter.Open URL" in the Desktop App X Genesys Cloud .

In my case, the width and height properties worked as expected in the browser, but when running the script in the Desktop App the window always opened around 800x600

At the time I ended up adapting to that behavior, but I didn't dig deeper to confirm whether it's officially expected or just a limitation of the Desktop App.

If you never get a response here, it's worth contacting the Genesys care team.
