    Good morning team,

    The colours for our Genesys PureCloud in schedules have changed from what they previously were.

    I was wondering if there is a way to change these back?

    I've also noticed this and would love to change the colours back. The new colours are very hard on the eyes.

    Hey @Paul Wood for reference we utilise heavy off queue work and these colours bleed into each other, it is very hard to look at visually. 

    This colouring only appeared Monday 11.8.25. Friday 8.8.25 the old colouring was still in effect.

    Can you provide an anonymised screenshot with annotations of the changes?

    As far as I'm aware, there have been no changes made in this area, although we are constantly reviewing our colour scheme and styling for accessibility and making small improvements to help with consistency across the platform and to support the wider user base better.

    Yes, scheduled time off, training, and off queue time are now slightly different colors than they used to be. I don't hate the change, but for training, particularly, the new shade of green makes it less clear at a glance where on queue ends and training begins.

    I agree that from an aesthetics point of view the new colors have much to be desired. But, I'm more concerned with eye strain from the difference in color between Off-Queue and On-Queue activity codes. I worked on another platform that used clashing colors and after spending hours working on schedules it's no joke. Also, I couldn't find anywhere where the change was called out, and with the timing of it, it doesn't seem like it was part of last week's release. Was it something that was changed during the maintenance down time over the weekend?

    Thanks all for your feedback. 

    The team are working on a fix for this, and it should be in this week's deployment. You will see the colour palette revert to the original colours over the weekend.

    Apologies for the inconvenience, this was an unintentional change.

    Hi Paul, Can you confirm how this was released without it being on the roadmap or in any release notes? we try to make sure as a company we are following the these items closely as they have impacts as you can see above, but also screen shots for documenation may need to be changed as a result. Being made aware of any chagnes via the release notes gives us a chance to communicate any change with our Operations teams.

    Hi Paul,

    I appreciate this isn't directly within your remit, but I wanted to check something with you.

    Was there an initial request to update the colour scheme? It appears Genesys may have taken the initiative to implement changes without consultation or prior communication with clients. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring pattern, and it's leading to customer dissatisfaction and additional workload for our teams.

    In addition to the colour changes, we've noticed a new "Time Off" option has appeared in the dropdown menu, alongside our existing "Annual Leave" selection. This wasn't previously available, and as a result, colleagues have been selecting it by default. Since it's not configured for our activity type naming conventions, these requests are going into a pending state, creating further operational overhead.

    We've managed the impact internally, but again, there was no formal notification of this change. Do you anticipate this will be reverted, as happened with the previous update?

    Hi @Mike Morris / Steve Johnson, 

    This was an unfortunate and unforeseen impact of an update to our underlying design/styling framework. While Genesys make every effort to minimise disruption to other services, there are occasional edge cases that only show themselves when all of the interacting parts "go live". 

    Unfortunately, the Flair 4.0 update last weekend caused an unintended change within the Workforce Management Scheduling colour palette. The development teams investigated this issue as soon as we were made aware of it and have a fix ready to roll out in this weekend's maintenance deployment. The learning from this will be added to our testing suite to ensure such changes don't make it into production again.

    We know and understand the importance of communicating UI changes and the unintended impact these can have on our customers' business, and we have strict guidelines for communicating and announcing any UI change that we make. Sadly, with this being an unforeseen and unintended change, we were unable to pre-warn organisations of the possible impact. 

    We apologise for the inconvenience the change caused this week.

    Hi Paul,

    Can you check if the color of the hatching for the new activities could also be rolled out to the previous color ?

    Previously, the hatching was darker : 

    Now the color of the hatching is very close to that of the background and our users have difficulty distinguishing between a new time off and an already published time off.

    thanks for reporting this @Emmanuel Chandeze we are now working on a fix. You should see the hatching return to their previous colours in the next few weeks. As soon as I have a confirmed date, I'll update the community.

    Hi Steven,

    Can you check if "Agent Selectable" is checked for this activity code in the Activity Code configuration? If so, can you check the audit viewer to see if it was changed? We tested on our end and were unable to reproduce the issue. However, it is somewhat challenging to test this one. 

    Curious if a new "Time Off" option has appeared for anyone else here?

    If the audit does not indicate that the activity code has changed, please submit a care ticket so our developers can investigate further. From my end, there were no planned changes to how these activity codes operate.

    Agreed. Our supervisors and WFM team also preferred the old colour scheme (more contrast).

    FYI this is also being discussed in the ideas lab under WFMSCH-I-28.
