if you want to count attempts, probably you need to add on your contact list , a column called "Attempts Number", and you have to add a Call Rules like below :
CATEGORY : WRAP UP
CONDITIONS : CALL ANALYSIS == PERSON ,in the ACTIONS section you need to put :
UPDATE CONTACT COLUMN
COLUMN NAME : Attempts Number
UPDATE OPTION : Increment(BY ONE)
It could be an option, but you can create different scenarios based on business requirements.
