    Hello Community,

    I was doing some research around HIPPA Compliance and noticed on the help page that HIPAA is only supported within the 2 regions listed below.

    Where does Genesys Cloud support HIPAA compliance?

    HIPAA compliance is available in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) US East and US West regions.

    If I think about how this translates to GMF (Global Media Fabric), does this mean that I need to use Force TURN on the agent's WebRTC stations so that they only use the media regions set on the site (in this case US East and US West). Would this be required to maintain HIPAA compliance?

    I looked into this with the PM at Genesys and they will update the documentation.  Since HIPAA is a US Regulation, it really only applies to customers in US-West, US-East, or US-East-2 (FedRAMP).   All regions still encrypt all data including ePHI, but there is no recourse to litigate HIPAA outside the US.
