  • 1.  How to detect STAR (*) key in task?

    There is a "Collect Input" in Inbound Call Flow Task. How to validate whether customer is pressing the STAR (*) key? 

     

    I had tried ToString(Task.DialerInput)=="*" , but it's not working.

     

    Please help.

    Hi Louis.  Unfortunately, this is currently not supported, since the grammar used intentionally only accepts digits.  However, IMO allowing the star (*) key - and probably also the hash/pound (#) key - seems like a reasonable enhancement, and I have created the following SCR for it: VX-886.   As far as when this might get addressed, that will be up to Product Management; if you have more information on your business need for this, I will pass it along to the appropriate product manager.  Thank you.
