  • 1.  HRIS Blueprint w/Dayforce

    Hi all,

    I am just starting my journey into integrating our HRIS with Genesys.  Was wondering if anyone has been successful using the blueprinted solution with Dayforce?  If so do you have any learnings or pain points to share? 

    Also, I have a related need to update the agent's current manager and starting state from this system as well.  Could the 'Get Agents' workflow be expanded to include this additional update in the synchronized run?  Or is this something that should be completely net new?

    Unfortunately, this work effort has been held up internally as our security teams have some structure and policy to define around anything that integrates with our HR system.  I haven't really gotten any further than my own reading of the blueprint.

    Hi Mike,

    While I haven't implemented the HRIS Blueprint with Dayforce specifically, I would recommend treating manager updates and starting state updates as separate synchronization processes rather than extending the core "Get Agents" workflow. This typically provides better control, error handling, and auditing.

    The biggest areas I'd validate early are manager hierarchy mapping, employee lifecycle events (hire, transfer, termination), and identifying whether Dayforce or Genesys is the source of truth for each attribute.

    Following this thread as we're also interested in learning from organizations that have successfully integrated Dayforce with Genesys Cloud.
