    Hi All.

    Does anyone have any ideas on how to clearly mark schedules to show when people are working from home or from the office please? Ideally, would like to build into a work plan, however the only option I can think of currently would add more work. (setting up a new 'On Queue' activity code - which would then need to be stamped over the default code anyway)

    Look forward to someone posting a great idea that I haven't been able to find online 😁

    Hi Donna,
    We too are looking for a better solution and something we can better automate with something like work plans. At this stage we haven't come across anything outside of my WF updating the activity codes for a schedule in Genesys to reflect where the agent is to be rostered - home or office (example below) - sounds similar to maybe what you are doing

    Eager to get a better solution for this. Hopefully @Genesys Admin can give us some good news on how we can better build schedules to suit modern hybrid working scenarios

    Hi @Donna Cockrell, 

    at the moment using Block Scheduling or Work Plan Activities to replace the default is the only way to achieve what you are looking for. 

    We do have the following idea for replacing the default On Queue activity with an alternative:

    Hi, do we have a timescale for this and also for Ability to Customize Color of Activity | Genesys Cloud Ideas Portal?

    Once these are both implemented, being able to visually manage hybrid working will be a lot easier.

    Hi @Dave Tiltman, 

    @Andrew Boland updated the idea on the 12th December, advising that the Ability to Colourize Colour for Activity is targeting an H1 2026 release.

    While work has begun on the research and design phase, there are no firm dates at the moment. 


    As soon as Andrew and the team have a more defined timeline, they will update the idea to reflect and communicate the target date.
