I know this is not going to be one bit of comfort to you all, but the idea of limiting votes comes out of product management theory/best practices, and is designed to make people weigh their votes very carefully to use them for what is most important to them:
https://blog.aha.io/allocate-customer-votes-ideas-portals/Votes are returned when an idea gets implemented, yes, but you can also retract a vote from one idea and apply it to another.
That said, with Partners submitting idea on behalf of clients it can get a bit restrictive, can't it?
My question on that front is, why aren't the clients submitting the ideas themselves? Every customer should request and use their own login to the PureCloud Community, which means they would have the necessary Okta login to be used on the Ideas Lab as well. If customers refuse to participate in Community and the Ideas Lab directly...they don't understand the principles upon which PureCloud was founded :-)

I agree with @Angelia Harper on this one!
Even if the VARs weren't taken into consideration when this limit was set (Why not?!) limiting a single customer to only 10 submissions does not make sense.
@Matthew Raimundo: The rationale that "Votes get returned to you when an idea that you voted for is delivered" is not comforting, considering past experience of how much time it takes to get an idea implemented.
I think that setting such a limit can actually discourage us from submitting ideas.

@Matthew Raimundo In reference to this post, we used to be able to submit feature requests via the portal, since that has now been shifted to the Ideas Lab, how should we handle the fact that we are needing to open feature requests for our clients? Being limited to 10 is not allowing me to open the requests that my clients are wanting. Just wondering if this might be slated to change at all?

Hi Darryn!
It looks like you either voted for or submitted a combination of 10 ideas, which is the current limit for PureCloud Ideas Lab users. When you submit a new idea, you automatically vote for it. Votes get returned to you when an idea that you voted for is delivered. Keep in mind that you can always go back and remove your vote from one idea to vote on another one.
Hope this helps,
-Matt

Not sure if its just my account or not but ever since the Product Ideas lab was born and the vote function was a available. I was only allocated 5 votes which have all been used.
Anyone else have this problem in regaining more votes?
