The GET /api/v2/authorization/roles/{roleId}/subjectgrants documentation says that the subject types can be one of PC_USER, PC_GROUP, PC_OAUTH_CLIENT, PC_TRUSTEE_USER, PC_TRUSTEE_GROUP, UNKNOWN.
I did some tests and sometimes I got those UNKNOWN subjects, so my question is: How can I identify what they are? I have their IDs, but I do not know what entity type they correspond to.
What entities can you grant roles to besides Users, Groups and OAuth Clients?

I don't think that getting UNKNOWN is a normal case. Because this relates to customer-specific data in your org, I cannot access it to investigate what those records are referring to. Please open a case with Genesys Cloud Care to investigate the potentially incorrect data in your org.
