  • 1.  In Call Translation Spanish to English

    Does anyone know if a voice bot can be configured to work as a translator on a live ACD voice interaction?  Use case: Spanish speaking caller reaches an English only speaking agent.  The bot would translate into English what the caller says for the agent to view in text on their screen.  The agent would type a reply in English that the bot would speak in Spanish to the caller.

    What would be really great is if there was way to translate the audio in near-real time to cut down on the time it takes to type the response.  Ideally the bot would speak to the caller in Spanish and the agent in English.

    With any luck Genesys may have this in the future.  For now, you could try turning on low latency transcription and try using the chat translation blueprint.   Theoretically it should work.
