  • 1.  Incorrect Caller ID showing when making outbound calls 'On Behalf of Queue'

    I'm unsure why the incorrect phone number is showing in the Caller ID when outbound calls are being made 'On Behalf of Queue' from the Interactions tab.  Does anyone know what are the steps to set up outbound dialing 'On Behalf of Queue' as I could have missed one!

    By Caller ID, you are referring to the name, correct?

    We have the same issue. The Calling Party Number configured for the queue is used correctly on outgoing calls on behalf of the queue, but the Calling Party Name is set to the default on the trunk. We have the Address Override Method on the trunk set to Unassigned, so the queue settings should be used. 
    We have a ticket open with support, but they have yet to find what's wrong.

    The Address Override Method currently only pertains to the phone number (Address field), not the name (as indicated by the title of that setting).

    There is a new setting coming, currently in Beta, to set the Name Override Method in a similar fashion. Until that is in production, you cannot override the name in the Trunk settings. If the Name field is blank, the name of the User or the name set on the Queue will be used.
