Hello everyone!

I created an idea in the Genesys portal requesting an increase in the character limit for prompts used in custom summaries.

Today, we have a limit of 6,000 characters, which can make it difficult to create more complete, detailed prompts that are prepared for more complex scenarios. The proposal is to increase this limit to 10,000 or 12,000 characters, bringing more flexibility to everyone who uses this feature on a daily basis.

This improvement can benefit not only our current use, but also future expansions and evolutions of generative AI projects in Genesys.

The idea is currently in Community Feedback status, so community participation is essential for it to move forward.

I agree that increasing the character limit would bring much more flexibility, especially for more advanced custom summary prompts that need to handle different scenarios, exceptions, business rules, and specific formatting requirements.

As generative AI use cases evolve inside Genesys Cloud, having more room to structure detailed instructions can directly improve consistency, accuracy, and scalability.
