    Don't know how many have looked, but the on-queue screen has changed from the inspirational messages to:

    Sorry, but why couldn't we have been given a way to add messages to the original ones instead.  This is just so retro and uninspiring!

    100% agree Robert.  I know there's been a few ideas/requests to be able to provide our own list of quotes, or even to be able to turn that into a MOTD type thing.  That panel now just looks like a waste of screen real estate.  Not to mention if you've got the interactions panel open, you're already seeing a message that you're waiting on queue.  This change seems a bit short-sighted.

    Hopefully this is part of a planned change to actually let us do something in that space though.  It might be nice to be able to select a particular performance view, leaderboard layout, or even the activity stream to put in there.

    Oddly, this popped up on my Genesys Cloud interface. This change was made so that the information on the screen can provide updates (where you are in the queue, etc.) I'm still trying to learn more, but it's inspiring to hear that the inspirational quotes are missed!

    Like the MOH we have had to endure for 20 years on CIC, we sometimes miss the regular when it is taken away.  Imagine calling into a PureConnect and not hearing the synthesized oboe piece?

    I think the real ask is that we wanted to change the messaging.  We could have created something like "You are doing great and ready to take calls" message on our own!

    Yes exactly.  I also had a few people make some comments I won't repeat here about some of the people who's quotes were part of that quote library :)

    We'd have much preferred it to be customisable by us - to either rotate through a library of quotes we import into something (workspace, data table, etc) or even maybe to be able to throw a canned response into it so it can be formatted - that's probably my preference so it could be a nice MOTD thing.

    I'd like to maybe see a bit more notice on UI related changes that include actual screenshots of how it is going to look.  Usually the Features Coming Soon thing only gives us about a week's notice, and doesn't always explain very well what's happening.  Partners then need to digest that change, communicate it out to customers, who then have to communicate it out to users.

    Hey it'd be great if maybe there was a community for the roadmap @Matt Lawson :)

    @Vaun McCarthy, well, I may not have "Roadmap" community, but get ready for a big announcement next week (hopefully on Monday).

    I think the suggestions that you and @Robert Wakefield-Carl are suggesting sound great. Have either of your created an idea for this? I know it's a weird concept to create an idea for a feature that just got replaced, but I think it may be the easiest way to get some attention to the topic.​​

    Hi all,  Thought I'd mention that we've been working with our Genesys partners this week on how we get better change communication, particularly for upcoming UI changes. Discussion was triggered because the upcoming Analytics Workspace changes were not easy to find out about, and the date for that has changed a few times and that also wasn't easy to find out about. Vic Oditah and Jack Nichols were going to be taking this back to the Product team and working on perhaps a dedicated area within the Release Notes space for upcoming UI changes. The space would have a much longer runway (we requested 90 days notice) and it would be possible to subscribe so you'd get emails for upcoming changes or shifted dates. Matt, perhaps you could connect with Vic and Jack?

    Sounds like a  good start Casey.  I think what's also important is that any UI change mentioned in release notes also includes screenshots of how that change is going to look as well as having a mechanism for raising concerns.
