  • 1.  Invalid Queue Specified - Error

    During one of the deployment, we found that there was a typo in the name of the queue created, the queue name was corrected. However during the end to end testing (routing to Queue/agent test), we started seeing Invalid queue specified. 
    Deletion of the queue, and recreating did not help.
    We engaged support, tried republishing the flow (as advised by the consultant), it did not help. Post as per the advice we had to go for reboot of our edge server.
    After the edge reboot, this issue got fixed and the call got routed to queue/agent.
    Could this be something to do with the cache/memory? How can we address this without restart of Edge?



    Steps to replicate -
    1. create a queue with Typo in name

    2. Correct the typo

    3. Test the queue

    Did you just change the name or create a new queue with the same name?  I have found that some times when I correct it, the programming adds a number at the end.  Use the API to list your queues and make sure the name is correct in that response.  Also, try to do an export of the flow and import it.  That might help it sync up to the new name.
