Thats awesome and I could definitely see the benefit of having this autostart with GC client, but at this time its not possible. The agent/user would have to start this integration/app every time they open GC client.
Again I would highly recommend submitting and idea for this. As I can see the benefits of our customers having this as a feature.

Thank you, Cameron, for your reply, we have a situation where we are developing the auto screenpop using the middleware and for that we are creating the Client App integration in the side panned widget, which client wants should run 24*7, however we are finding it need to be client upon to start the integration by agent on every log on. Is there a way this integration will trigger by its own as soon as agent logs in?

Genesys Cloud Client Apps do not support an auto-open feature. You can request new features and share your use case at https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ 6.
A few suggestions from the Client Apps dev team:
- standalone apps are routable. So, if it's a standalone app, users could bookmark that as their genesys cloud url and that would auto-start the app. only works for browser-based apps
- Panel Manager allows admins to configure a defualt app for interaction widgets/interapptions. Doesn't help with standalone/widget apps.
