I am trying to find a way to disable "Conference calls" ability either via an ACD call or a direct call but removing the permission Conference > Call > Add does not seem to be disabling it. Has anyone else tried to do that and were you successful? 

Looking for some insights on how we can achieve this.

Hello Amit, 

In order to disable the conference call ability is to remove both permissions. Conversation > Call > Add and Conversation > Conference > Add. The documentation confirms these are both prerequisite permissions. 

This should remove the ability to make conference calls.

Thanks for your response. But removing the Conversation > Call > Add permission also removes the ability for the user to start a call. I suppose we can't really just remove the conference option without removing the ability to make/receive calls?

That makes sense, I cant believe I didnt think about that. At this point I recommend a enhancement request in our ideas portal.
