To ensure optimal efficiency, it is recommended that you create work plans for all shifts that have been forecasted throughout the day. Staff can then bid for these shifts, with special needs shifts being locked in as accommodations to staff requirements (these are exceptions). This approach allows for flexibility while ensuring that all necessary shifts are covered. Does your entire staff have specific shifts that need to be set in stone?
