Is there any way to integrate a PureCloud webchat with a bot via my own application(nodejs, etc.)

    Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible to integrate Purecloud webchat with a bot via my own application which is based on nodejs (AI- API.AI, MicrosoftBotFramework or Wit.AI).

    Also my second question - Is the chat conversation history getting saved ?if yes how it is getting managed via APIs?(via any specific sessionid/userid)

    We do not currently make webchat APIs publicly accessible, although we have plans to do so. There is some work to do to first make them easily consumable.

     

    Chat conversation history gets saved into quality management and can be retrieved via the recording API here:  https://developer.mypurecloud.com/api/rest/v2/recording/index.html. API questions are typically better suited for the developer forum https://developer.mypurecloud.com/forum/, we can help out over there if you have any questions around authentication.
