Summary
Few months ago, at the beginning of October 2025, a new property (UseLegacyParameterFilter) was introduced at the ApiClient level in the Platform API SDK for Javascript (version 232.0.0).

The original issue: The Platform API SDK for JavaScript ignores (filters out) query parameters of type boolean when the value is false, and query parameters of type integer/number when the value is 0.
The new ApiClient property (UseLegacyParameterFilter) had been introduced to facilitate a safe transition to modern, accurate filtering without risking unintended behavior changes in existing applications.
This property was set to true (by default) - in this case, the SDK applies the legacy filter (ignoring false and 0 values).
The property value could be changed to false, allowing modern and correct processing of the API Query parameters, using the setUseLegacyParameterFilter method at ApiClient level.

Now that few months have passed, we will update the default UseLegacyParameterFilter value to false.
This means that the SDK will take into account and send API Query parameters of type boolean when the value is false, and query parameters of type integer/number when the value is 0.
This change will apply to new versions of the Platform API SDK for JavaScript released on and after Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
If you want to test the impact of this change upfront, add “client.setUseLegacyParameterFilter(false);” to your code in order to set the UseLegacyParameterFilter ApiClient property to false.
If you want to keep the legacy query parameters processing, plan to add “client.setUseLegacyParameterFilter(true);” to your code once you update your SDK library to a version impacted by this update.
