    Hi Team, 

    Anyone else noticed that you can no longer type/paste a number into the 'please enter a number or contact' box in the interactions UI, then hit enter on the keyboard twice to make the call?

    Hey Mikaylah,

    Are you trying to make an outbound phone call using the Conversations tab (agent icon) on the left? If you are, you will need to make sure that both fields are filled out before dialing. Under the Make Call You will need to have a queue selected first in the On behalf of queue field. Once a queue has been selected, you can paste the number in the Please enter a number or contact field and then press Enter twice to start the call. 

    If you are use the Calls tab (phone icon) you can paste the number in the Please enter a number or contact field and double tap Enter to start a call that way as well.

    I just tested this out on my end and was able to get it to work using the methods above. Let me know if that helps!

    Hi Jason, 

    Unfortunatly, this is exactly what both myself, and our users are doing.

    We're dialling from the conversation/interations tab, inputting the number (queue is already filled but have tried manually filling this) and hitting enter twice. The first enter saves the number in the field, and used to move the cursor/selection to the green dial icon, but now the cursor/selection stays in the phone number field. Entering the number, hitting enter, tab (to move the cursor/selection to the green dial icon), then enter will dial the call.

    I've got a case in with Support, but confirming this is impacting all users and is occuring in chrome, edge and the desktop app.

    Hitting enter twice doesn't work in MS Edge.  But a short term solution is Paste/Type number, Enter-Tab-Enter.

    We are having the same issue also.  Issue started last Thursday June 27th and I've opened a ticket but the Genesys tech said it's working on their side.  I've tried on both the web (Edge Browser) and the app and both have the same issue.  The Genesys tech asked me to clear the cache to see if resolves the issue but so far no luck.

    Same timeframe for us, around the time of the last release!

    Our tech told me they'd be referring to the dev team and to use Enter, Tab, Enter for now so sounds like they might have found the issue, or at least acknowledged that it's an issue.

    I noticed in the architect user prompts screen a similar issue today, dialog boxes, dropdowns and cursor selections prevented me from adding an additional language to the view completely. Fingers crossed for a speedy resolution!

    FYI - You are not alone @Mikaylah Smith & others (and glad to see we're not either) on this issue. That's why I love the community. None of our users can use the Enter key when placing a call on behalf of a queue per the instructions. Glad to hear the issue is logged and being investigated.

    The only update I've received yesterday was

    "Please be informed that this issue is still being worked on by our Dev teams.

     We will update you once we received any feedback from them."

    I'll update this discussion when I hear more.

    Hello all,

    It looks like the fix for this has now been deployed in all regions. This was a lost functionality issue which was reverted by our Dev team. Thank you all for reporting it this issue!
