  • 1.  Lex Voice Bot

    Hi,

    we have setup a Lex Voice Bot that we invoke with a Call Lex Bot action from Architect.
    In this action we have setup a Starting Prompt that we hear so we can tell the bot our intent.
    Our intent is captured and then we hear the slot prompt: however, after the slot prompt the Lex bot is configured to play a confirmation prompt that we don't hear, in the Lex logs it seems that is correctly set as botResponse.
    So basically we only hear the slot prompt from Lex and also, the error handling prompts are not played back even if the Lex logs don't show any error.
    We have configured the voice bot to use the same language and voice as the Polly TTS configured in Architect (however the issue seems to occur no matter what TTS is configured on Architect side)?

    Has anyone encountered in a similar issue?

    Hi

    I have started experimenting with Lex integration and have just stumbled upon the same issue.
    I have built a lex bot that uses lambda function to do a data-dip and respond back with the result.
    When testing on the aws site - the response is there.
    When testing from Genesys Cloud ChatFlow  or Inbound Flow only the intent and slot messages come through. The fulfilment messages do not.

    Another issue that I discovered was that on Chat Flow the success action is not triggered after successful fulfilment on Lex.
    It does trigger the success action on the Voice Flow though.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hi Andris.
    Exactly, I have the same scenario as yours with the lambda function that builds the response for the bot and it looks like we have the same issue.
    Hopefully someone in the community can give some advice
