mailFolder with GraphAPI

    Hello,

anyone knows if i possible to monitor only a specific subfolder in INBOX when setting up a GRAPH API mailbox?

There is an app that sorts the emails in specific subfolders and only one subfolder contains the emails for Genesys. Can I pull only these emails that are in this subfolder?

    Regards,

    Mihai

In that case yes I believe its possible to monitor specific subfolders in your inbox.

During the email route configuration (Admin > Email > Your Domain > Routes: When adding a mailbox you can specify the exact folder path you want to monitor. The folder path should include the complete path to your subfolder (eg. "Inbox/YourSpecificFolder")

Some important considerations to note make sure the Microsoft Graph API integration has the necessary permissions to access the specific subfolder. The integration will only process emails from the specified folder path. You can set up multiple routes for different folders if needed.

    Hi Cameron,

I'm afraid this is not possible, or I didn't understand correctly how to do it. Please see screenshot below:

    Hello Mihai,

It just looks like its throwing a character issue error. I am thinking its not liking the underscore in the name.

    Cheers,

    Hi Cameron,

it's not the underscore rather the slash "/" that it doesn't like. I've tried also with backslash but it's not working either.

it has no problem with Invoice_01@swisscomd365.onmicrosoft.com

    Thank you,

    Mihai

    Hello Mihai,

Apologies for the delay. I was trying to set this up myself and test out the information I got. But yes it doesn't look like its possible I am seeing the same issue.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

Currently, monitoring a specific folder is not supported. Only the Inbox one is subscribed by default.
Adding such config is in the roadmap but I would advise to get in touch with the Project Manager for better visibility.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi,
Is there any workaround for achieving this functionality currently? We are also in the same boat and tried many different combinations for eg using the Graph API's directly, forwarding the content of the mailbox subfolder to a proxy mailbox etc. but we are not able to preserve the original sender information then.

Would love to hear if there are some ideas to get around it.
