I am already doing the same. Please refer below screenshot. So let's say the call flow is now in the main task execution, so when I press * now, will it not go to the 'Go to Spanish' task as I have set DTMF goes to this menu choice from any menu( as per the resource center , if this option is enabled then the execution goes to this task when * is pressed at any point during the call flow execution. If this will not work in that way, Is there any way this logic can be implemented?

Hi Nivedha,
From the menu selection you have to use "Jump to Reusable Task", and with in the reusable task set the language based on your preference and then return the control to go to previous menu or a perticular menu based on your requirement. When we use set language action until the task execution is completed it will not get reflected. Adding the screen shot bellow to show how we can implement this. Hope this helps.
