  • 1.  Menu - No input and invalid input

    Hello

    I have business case where in a menu with 3 options (1,2,8) has the following behavior.

    1. If the caller does not input any digit, "Please make a selection and we would like to serve you" should be played and should return to 3-option menu for 3 times and on exceeding 3 attempts, the caller should be routed to voicemail.
    2. If the caller inputs an invalid digit (a digit other than 1, 2, 8), "Uh oh, that's an invalid selection. Please select from the available menu options" should be played and then route back to the 3-option menu for 3 times and on exceeding 3 attempts, the caller should be routed to voicemail.

    In Architect Inbound flow, under Menu, I did not see any options or configuration around these No-input and Invalid-input.

    How do I handle this or achieve these in Architect flows?

    Firstly, I would like to confirm that this is for a inbound call flow and not bot flow, correct.

    For inbound call flow, I would recommend looking at the "Collect Input" action in the call flow - https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/collect-digits-data-action/

    Not sure if this will meet your requirement. Perhaps someone else in the community has a better way to achieve this.
