  • 1.  Missing permission [messaging.integration.view].

    Agent was assigned to the phone queue as part of their skill set, received a chat request. However, the chat interaction did not have an associated Service Request (SR) number.

    An error appeared: "Missing permission [messaging.integration.view]. Cannot determine supported attachment types. Please contact your administrator."Agent Desktop shows no interaction handled therefore no SR could be retrieved. Is this permission related?

    Hi Roshan,

    The [messaging:integration:view] permission is needed to fetch the supported content profiles from the messaging integration.  So I believe you would need to assign that permissions to users

    Hello @Samuel Jillard when we assign this permission [messaging:integration:view], it allows agents to see Messenger platform configuration from Admin.

    do we have any option to restrict the agent view from Admin page after adding above permission?

    Hi Hanumantha,

    There is no way to restrict the admin page currently, but I found the following on the Genesys Cloud Product Ideas Lab:  Remove Admin Tab where others have noted that it shows due to permission messaging:integration:view
    I would vote on the idea and add your use case so that it can be considered for future development
