I planning deployment the Genesys Cloud below:
ContactCenter A:
VoiceGateway01-Edge # 01,02-Phone A (User: OP1) * Site CCA
ContactCenter B:
VoiceGateway02-Edge # 03,04-Phone B (User: OP2) * Site CCB
- Each EdgeServer assignment the external trunk of the own site's voice gateway.
- Phone A is provisionnig to the Edge # 01 as primary edge.
- Phone B is provisionnig to the Edge # 03 as primary edge.
- IP Phones of both site don't site redundancy. (Provisioning to local Edges)
- OP1 and OP2 are same queue member (equal they have same skills).
In the following call scinario, could you tell us if you have any other considerations other than QoS?
1.OP2 status change to "On Queue". (OP1 is "Off Queue" status).
2.Inbound call incoming to ContactCenter A from customer.
3.VoiceGateway01 send INVITE to the Edge # 01 or 02 (depends on the setting VoiceGateway).
4.Edge # 01 or 02 transfer INVITE to the Edge # 03.
5.Call is routing to the Phone B (OP2) and establish it.
* I believe that at this time, RTP session establish to the Edge#03 via the Site A (Edge # 01 or 02).
