Need to know if Genesys Cloud can be integrated with Azure PAI Graph for email channel (inbound and outbound), using a MuleSoft middleware

    One of our customers is asking to have MuleSoft as a Gateway for all API connections between Genesys Cloud and the customer's backend services.

    Specially I am asking to know if this can be done, and if this is possible and idea about how this can be achieved. The Genesys Cloud resource center, does have detailed information about the direct integration between Genesys Cloud and Microsoft API Graph for e-mails, but this is a specific scenario not described there.

    Any help is welcome.

    Hello Jorge, 

    Yes, it is possible to use MuleSoft as an API gateway for connections between Genesys Cloud. Genesys uses REST-based APIs for most our integrations. MuleSoft can act as a middleware layer between Genesys and your customers backend systems. Just as an important note, I haven't found any built out integrations for this in our appfoundry or developer center, this means you or your customer would be responsible for developing this and maintaining it. This where I HIGHLY recommend our Professional Services team, they can help you build this out the exact way your customer wants it.
