  • 1.  New Org Deployment in the UAE: What are other clients doing to keep Gov restrictions?

    Posted 20 days ago

    Hi everyone,

I hope you're well. Quick one as we're trying to advise a UAE client (Government entity) on what are the options today for a new Genesys cloud deployment. What are other clients doing as we need to adhere to the local government restrictions (Data sovereignty, voice traffic, etc).

Can someone advise on a possible architecture? What's the feedback from the Genesys architect community?

    Help is appreciated.

    Thank you. BR,

    Hi Tiago

I found this article on the resource center regarding deployment considerations - https://help.genesys.cloud/articles/genesys-cloud-deployment-considerations-for-uae/

    Hi @Tiago,

If you don't have an existing Org in another AWS region, you can use the recommendation that Stephan mentioned in his note.  As there is a point of presence in UAE, your data (both interaction and transaction) related to your customers will be stored locally in the UAE region.

Do you have another Org already setup in another region?

    Hi Tiago,

Using the UAE region is the default choice, except that with the current conflict it is expected that it will take several months before the platform is back online in region.
