New Salesforce WEM Activity Screen

  • 1.  New Salesforce WEM Activity Screen

    Hi,

    I was excited to see the new options for the WEM Activity view in SFDC. I'm working to build it out, but am unable to see the CustomComponent. I updated to the latest verison in appExchange 4.14.0, but that appears to be some months old. Will a new version of the managed package with the component become available soon? Or am I doing something wrong based on the instructions?

    Same here. I don't understand where I can find that new component. I keep having the same two: InteractionUtility and CustomerJourney.

    Looking forward for an answer.

    I've found the same. Not sure if I need to be patient for the new component to become available (through the managed package) or if I'm missing something.

    It would be nice to get some confirmation from Genesys that this is expected. 

    I don't see that we can add the component ourselves so it likely will be a newer version than the currently available 4.14.

    can anyone confirm when the AppExchange package is expected to be updated?  Is there some verbiage that can be added to the Resource Center to indicate when SalesForce version dependencies exist?

    Hoping Genesys might be able to give us some advice.

    @Richard Schott do you have any insight into when this is available? The resource center has instructions but not seeing it as an option in the managed package.

    Hi all,

    I just had an update from Customer Care:
    "we're aiming to release this feature formally by the end of this week but please bear in mind that this could be subject to change if any issues crop up that may require us to revise the new managed package"

    I've now been able to add the custom component to the App page but don't see any content when I open the App. What am I still missing?

    I'm also having the same issue.

    I follow the directions as written and the App appears, but it's blank.

    Mine is working fine now. It takes a few seconds to load but it works.

    Permissions maybe?

    My Screen never moves past this. I can see WEM activity on my regular GCloud native ui.

    It possible it's permissions, did I miss a new custom permission?

    As far as I know, no permission needed other than the ones described in Resource Center for this feature.

    No ideas, then. Sorry.

    Unfortunately Vaun I am still unable to get this to work.

    @Carlos Correia can you tell me what genesys AWS region your org is in? 

    Vaun and Alistair what regions are your org in?

    I'm in USwest2 wondering if it's a region issue. I'll be opening a ticket if I can't figure this out.

    APSE2 here, which means unfortunately it doesn't appear to be region specific.  

    Are you all doing this in dev editions or something else and how old/new are those instances if you're using a dev one?

    Genesys Care is escalating to developers as they can see something of an issue in the logs I sent them. Will follow up soon.

    Hi All,

    Genesys Care has updated that certain package settings need to be enabled.

    Please follow these.

    Please go to setup and search installed packages > select configure > Select Genesys Cloud for Salesforce Lightning from the drop-down > Scroll down to Client Event Settings and select Lightning Message Channel. You'll want to add all of the available options and then click save directly under it. Then go back to your app wait a moment and see if it loads properly.

    Also the RC will be updated to indicated the required configuration.
