Hi all, I'm new to creating web messaging UI and I'm lost at Journeys and Flows. I'm trying to track our users as they go through our chat but I just can't wrap my head on which option to use. Would I use flows or journey? Super novice question, I know, but any help would be super appreciated!
Have a great day everyone!

Hi Paco - can you share more about what you're trying to achieve? Flows allow you to build logic that is triggered when then End-User starts/resumes a messaging conversation (by sending a text message). For Web Messaging, you would need to create an Inbound Message Flow authored with Architect. When Flow processing starts, you can query the Journey Session to retrieve some of the journey attributes to use for personalized logic. The easiest way to find out all the available Journey Session attributes is to use that variable directly within Architect (see the auto-complete list attached).

Hi Angelo- I appreciate the help! I'm trying to see if there is a way to track our customers as they go through the inbound message flow to make sure that they are going down the correct route.

Is that like a "navigation assistance bot" type of experience?

Yes? The chat is for a customer support site for a FINTECH program company. User would chat in with an error, question, or request to cancel and chatbots would provide FAQ through set responses or from a knowledge bot or direct them to the appropriate queue.
