  • 1.  Object identifier changed?

    We've been using the API endpoint https://api.euw2.pure.cloud/api/v2/telephony/providers/edges/dids?phoneNumber= to retrieve the Genesys object identifier for specific DID's.  We've noticed that the ID of the DID has changed from when we last polled the endpoint about 2 months ago.

    Am I wrong to have assumed that an object ID assigned to a DID does not change?

    ie: old vs new:
    b545d98a-307c-4002-a27e-26b2448d2a42   b872a9ac-679d-4e31-b42a-d530ad3a062e

    Hi Ming, the DID ID should remain stable for the lifetime of a specific Genesys Cloud DID object. If the same phone number is now associated with a different DID ID, the most likely explanation is that the original DID object was deleted/recreated or reprovisioned, which created a new object instance.
