  • 1.  Outbound Anonymous call - Header change required

    Dear All,

    Could you please assist with this issue to make anonymous (restricted calls) from Genesys Cloud CX?

    I'm trying to make outbound calls using *67 feature code for an anonymous calls, however when I try to make the outbound calls (manual dialling), I'm getting an intercept message saying from the call saying that the call is not authorized.

    Ticket was raised with the support team that advised the below:

    "In order for calls to be sent from Anonymous, customer must have Privacy ID enabled which I can see on the call sample provided.

     The calls must be authenticated with a PAID that is apart of a number block associated with our trunk.

    Looking at few other cases where Genesys would like CLI to be anonymised, we had advised them on below;
    Genesys either to remove the tgrp value from the FROM header or they must include the number in E.164 format or local number with phone context."


    Given below SIP message from the failed (not authorized call). Does anyone knows how to remove the tgrp value from the FROM header or include the number in E.164 format or local number with phone context? Tried few different settings but still the issue.

    Hi Daniel,

    I believe you will need Configure the Header/Invite settings on your external trunk.

    Hopefully someone in the community can help further with this if thats not working.
