We have an always running campaign that is our highest priority campaign (priority 5). We have call rules in place for after the call where if we don't get hold of the contact e.g. answerphone, we recycle/reschedule using the rules to dial it again in 2 hours.
As well as this, we're continually adding new contacts into the list throughout the day that we want to dial ASAP. Our contact list includes a "Created On" column that is date stamped at the point of the contact being added. The campaign then uses dynamic sorting in the list to dial those which has the newest created on.
This works most of the time i.e. new contact added and they're called within a matter of seconds/minutes.
We're coming across issues though when we have the recycle/rescheduled calls for earlier dials due. In this scenario, it seems to be prioritising the recycled call over the new contact that has been added.
My questions are a) is this normal behaviour and b) is it possible to force it so that a new contact being added gets priority over any recycled call?
