  • 1.  Permissions to enable edit of a data table

    Hi All

I want to enable Supervisors to access Architect > Data Tables to edit a row in a specific data table to turn a boolean value on or off (which will be accessed via a data lookup in a call flow). I'm hoping for some help on which permissions are required.

Genesys online help only mentions the following permissions (none of which seem to just allow editing a row in an existing table):

However I can see there are more data table permissions available (e.g. 'Architect > Datatable Row > Edit') when I look at an existing role:

I have a feeling that the 'datatable row' permissions were part of a release in March this year that got (temporarily?) revoked so may not be working.

Regardless, I'm hoping someone can advise on the minimum amount of permissions I need to assign (at this point in time) to enable someone to edit a row in a data table.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Sarah

    Try following 3x permissions

    Architect > Datatable > View
Architect > Datatable Row > View
Architect > Datatable Row > Edit

    Thanks Zubair

I will try those in the next day or two.

I had tried Architect > Datatable Row > View and Architect > Datatable Row > Edit by themselves but wasn't able to see the 'Data Tables' option in Admin - probably because I didn't have the third one you suggested! I then used Architect > Datatable > Edit and Architect > Datatable > View and that enabled the table to be edited, but I assume the 'datatable row' permissions will limit the allowed actions.

    Thanks again
