Hello,
I stumbled upon a post/document indicating that the Platform API will be updated and that there will be additional endpoints that will be available but I cannot find the document.
Are there any plans for this?

Hello,
There is possibly a misunderstanding.
If your question was about a new version of the API itself (totally new endpoints), the answer is no. Platform API evolves along time (still v2). Some new API endpoints are sometimes introduced (for a new feature, for an enhancement, ...). You can see the ones in progress in the Preview APIs. Some API endpoints are sometimes modified or deprecated. Such modification or deprecation is notified upfront in Announcements.
