  • 1.  Play Position In Queue - strange behaviour

    Hey Everyone, 

    Really hoping I can get a solution to this issue we are facing. 

    We have a number of queues, that have all media types coming into them. 
    Ie, queue 1 takes emails, calls and chats.

    Now when there are emails in the queue, and a call comes in then the position in the queue comes out after the emails. Ie, if there are 9 emails in the queue, then the caller is told they are the 10th caller in the queue. 

    My question is how to have the prompt say their place in the call <g class="gr_ gr_401 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="401" data-gr-id="401">queue,</g> and not the total queue including any chat's or emails.

    The position in queue variable is not customizable like that.  Normally the workaround is to write your own data action that looks up the information using the purecloud api, but unfortunately that endpoint is not currently in the api.  You can ask for the position endpoint to be added the api in aha: https://purecloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas
