    We have a PreCall action where we are trying to determine if we should call a number or not. The issue we are running into is that the data being passed in the Action is the data from the Contact we are about to dial BUT we do not know which of the numbers we are attempting to dial.

    I know I can get a conversation based on the ContactID in the action but that is only after a call has been made. Is there a way to determine which number will be dialed from the Action being triggered and the ContactID being presented?

    This is to solve the Real Time Update to accounts that would prevent a call being made. We have a service that checks phone numbers to see if they should be contacted we just are unsure which number the system is going to dial.

    I don't believe there's any way to know which number will be dialed when running the data action. You can request new features and share your use case at https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/.
