    Hello, 

    I got a confirmation from Genesys Cloud support team that premise edges will have their SRTP port extended to udp/16384-65535 for the SRTP communication between users' webRTC phone and premise edges on December 07 2024 during the CIDR IP extension.

    I was wanting to share the communication as it is not really clear in the Genesys Cloud documentation that the SRTP port extendion range is not only for microservice edges (cloud media service) but also for premise edges.

    Therefore it is important to extend the RTP port range in firewall rules between users and premise edges when using webRTC phone on premise edges.
