  • 1.  Project dashboard with Magic Info solution

    Hi teams,

    At my company, we want to project dashboards onto monitors.
     
    The application we're using is Samsung Magic Info.
     
    I'd appreciate it if any colleagues have experience with this solution.
     
    The problem we've identified is that it requires logging into Genesys to access the dashboards. With Magic Info, we can send the URL, but we don't see a way to log in.

    Hi Oscar,

    I am not familiar with Samsung Magic Info, but I fear if you are not able to log in via that application then you will not be able to easily project the reporting dashboards into them.

    An alternative is using one of the dashboards of our vast reporting partner ecosystem on AppFoundry or custom dashboard developed via APIs. You might also create an idea on https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ to make dashboards shareable via links.

    Hey Oscar,

    Genesys Cloud dashboards are not publicly accessible URLs. They render inside the Genesys Cloud web app and require an authenticated session (cookies + OAuth/SSO), so sending only the dashboard URL to MagicINFO won't "log in" by itself. 

    I think your options are

    1- if it's just one screen, stick a small pc/ laptop behind the screen and login with a wallboard license.

    2 -  Use Genesys Cloud APIs to pull the metrics you need then render them in a simple internal web page (or Power BI/Tableau/etc.). Then point MagicINFO at that URL
