Hello, we want to integrate a 3rd party chat that sends notifications through webhook and receives message through an API, with PureCloud Chat. But to integrate them, we are thinking to develop a bridge that runs on server and it will send and receive message from the two chat platforms (PureCloud and 3rd Party Chat), and it will resend the message to the other chat platform.
To do this, we have to create a chat interaction similar to a Web Chat Request, but using Platform API. However, we have read the forum, and have found that the Platform API does not have this functionality, for e.g. we found this topic that said you were shooting 2018 to have this available.

There aren't currently APIs for chat that allow you to send, receive, or view chat messages. That functionality is currently under development and is slated for release late Q4 2018 or Q1 2019.
