That's a really interesting concept! When I was in graduate school, I would have loved the opportunity to connect in real time with other classmates and professors via a chat. Our CRM that we used just wasn't robust enough and the professors would frequently miss conversations on message boards. We'd just end up emailing or scheduling time to visit their offices.
You might also find using PureCloud Documents in order to easily upload files and videos to be incredibly useful. The streaming of videos has come a long way with it and you may not even need to download to a local device to watch. But, that also depends on your university's network capabilities.
