Yes there are several options available for advanced monitoring and custom notifications.
There is Genesys Cloud Monitoring Premium APP (GCM). This a comprehensive monitoring solution that offers real time monitoring with data ingestion every 60 seconds. It has pre-built dashboards specifically for monitoring BYOC sip trunks, state and call volume. Edge hardware monitoring and system performance metrics. It also has custom alert configurations that can integrate with sms and email notifications, Teams or Slack, ServiceNow and/or custom webhook endpoints.
You could also use our API to build out custom integration options. This would loo like using the Notifications API to create custom monitoring solutions. Or using our AWS EventBridge integration which monitors event-driven architects.
The simplest option would probably be the real-time notifications. They can keep track of Edge outages and health status changes. System performance thresholds, sip trunk status changes and hardware resource utilization.
That was a lot but for your specific scenario I would recommend the GCM as it provides out of the box solutions.

Hello. A total newbie here to Genesys Pure Cloud. Beyond receiving the standard alerts and looking at the Cloud status, has anyone done something monitoring wise with either API's or AppFoundry? I'd like to be notified, via SMS for one, when let's say a BYOC SIP trunk goes down or something specific like a cpu or memory spike.
