The current features, if you have PureCloud 3 license, include - corporate address book, ability to sync contacts and accounts from Salesforce, ability to make and transfer business and ACD calls to external contacts, native screen pop of contact information for all channels, ability to view interaction history for a specific contact as well as a roll up of interaction history at the organization level.
In the short term, we are looking at adding the ability to easily send emails to external contacts as well as dashboard improvements. In Q3, we are anticipating providing customers the ability to customize their contacts and organization so that they can for example store a birthday for each contact, for easy verification when an end customer calls in. You would also be able to create different types of organizations and contacts and allowing customers to collect and store different data about each, i.e. partner vs distributor or employee vs contractor.
There are also more longer term features we are currently looking at, such as providing an easy way to see any interactions in queue for a given customer. For example, if you are on a call with a customer you would be able to see that there are 3 emails waiting in queue and you as the agent would be able to see those emails and address them appropriately.
