  • 1.  PureCloud running really slow when answering long e-mails.

    We are experiencing “lag” when we try to answer long e-mails. Every agent and location (we have 2 locations) experiences this. If the e-mail is short, PureCloud runs smoothly, but if the thread contains many other e-mail and/ or attachments, then everything slows way down.

    When an agent tries to type an answer, the text he or she writes appears on the screen 2 to 3 seconds later. It is almost impossible to answer an e-mail sometimes.

     

    The only fix is to turn the computer of and then on. But the problem comes back if the agent picks up another long e-mail.

     

    What can be the issue here? Is it something with our internet connection or something in the PureCloud settings we need to tweak..?

    We have seen this happen as well and have a bug open to investigate this further, but so far we haven't been able to pin point a root cause of this behavior. Would you mind opening a support ticket so we can have additional data points to help us track it down?

    anyone got success resolving this issue?  I've got the same behavior with PureConnect.
