    Hello ,

we moved from pureconnect to genesys cloud few months ago. we are having difficulties archiving the recordings from pureconnect to azure storage location.

we created a recording policy in pureconnect and we see that archiving is happening but not as expected. we can see only 15-20% recordings are being archived. other recroings are not archiving, i checked the recoring logs but couldnt find anything.

    anybody has any suggestion ?

    Thanks

Have you tried archiving to a local location?  Does it get part that percentage?  You could be hitting some limitation on the Azure API.  Once you have a local copy, you can use a bulk API to upload that will pace it according to the API limits and allow retries.  I don't think the Archiver in PureConnect will do that.

Yes I tried archiving it to my local machine but there is no enough space.  recordings size is 14tb.

I created a new storage path ( azure)  and started archiving the recordings to that location. it has 100 tb space. i dont think it has any limitations. but so far i see only 600gb recordings moved.

i looked at the recordings logs but couldnt find anything in it.

Sounds like some API limit to me that is not being reported on.  I would suggest you move buckets of data and not the entire bathtub.

I went through this process last year with 3 years of recordings, I exported to a local media server with a load of space...and the size wasn't too bad, but it took months and months and loads of reruns as it kept bombing out.  once it was done I then used a duplicate finder to clean it up

When you build the export job make sure you get the structure as you want it
