Which one we should use ?

Both are good choices for Genesys Cloud API work, and both have SDK support.

I haven't used Python inside Genesys yet, but I recently used Node.js for a CRM integration, where it worked well as lightweight middleware for API calls, authentication, and payload transformation.

My view would be:

• Node.js: good for Genesys Cloud Functions, middleware, webhooks, and real-time integrations
• Python: good for reporting, analytics, exports, and bulk automation scripts

So I'd choose based on the use case and what your team can support long term.
