    Hey, Hey Community! 

    We launched the Big Game Prop Bets form a little early! You have until the game starts (Feb 9th) to participate.

    Since the Genesys Community is FULL of exciting events around television programming right now (if you don't know about our upcoming contests, please read here), I wanted to ask this question for our February Question of the Month series: 

    What television program do you most look forward to during the year? This can be awards programs, live sporting events, TV series premiere, ANYTHING!

    I'll go first: 

    I always look forward to watching the March Madness tournament every March/April with my husband. We get really into it and will watch it to the very end, even if our favorite team (North Carolina) doesn't make it all the way. And speaking of March Madness, the community will have an event around this and many other television events. 

    Our next contest is for the Super Bowl where we ask you to place your prop bets. Keep your eyes peeled in the Trivia Tower community for the next several weeks to see how you can win big! 

    Can't wait to see what you're watching this year - make me a fan!

    August 12th... the A Game!

    For those not in the know, the A Game is when Alabama football plays against themselves. It is the best game to watch and the crowd energy is insane. It is what we consider our first game of the season... for the officiating world, our first game is August 30th when we teach the Florida Seminoles what football means in the South!!

    Your first game is against FSU??? Oh man, my mom may be in tears. I feel like FSU's program (or at least coach) is on the Green Mile next year. First game against Alabama may be the crushing blow?

    Major Football and baseball events. 

    College football playoffs

    MLB - opening day, playoffs and world series

    Men and Women March Maddness

    Honestly, mine might be Top Chef.

    I love everything about it: Who are the chefs/judges, what cities do they represent, what city is hosting?

    It's hard to beat something like Game of Thrones, or X-Files back in the day, but I currently don't have a series I am nearly as passionate about or anxiously awaiting the next or finale episode of.

    I am looking forwards to the next season of Reacher that starts again this month, but hoping season 3 is more like season 1.  I have read most of the Jack Reacher books, they are an easy read when on holiday!

    Hey,

    hey @Samuel Jillard You a Jack Reacher fan? (obviously !,silly question)
    I first liked it, 'cz Tom Cruise played it so well. I was expecting more sequels to that movie, but looks like TC went MIA for MI.🤷‍♂️
    So, I started watching this series with not much expectations, but Alan Ritchson is absolutely gold !
    S1/S2 were both good.
    If you like Alan's work, watch "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare"

    @Ashiesh Sharma I did enjoy the Tom Cruise films, but having read the books and Jack Reacher being 6'5", I am glad they made the series with someone of a more suitable stature :))

    Alan Ritchson definitely seems to fit that bill quite well.  I did watch The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare quite recently and thought it was excellent.

    agreed.  When the movies came out they were a disappointment, not only because of the casting but lacking the time to go into the depth of story that makes those books such an enjoyable read.  By taking a single book and scripting it across multiple episodes allows for what was missing.

    Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc 1st part is supposed to be out this year in theaters so I will be seeing that. I'm rewatching the anime to get ready for it.

    I really love women's soccer. The NWSL playoffs are greatly anticipated by me. AND maybe the best part of loving this sport is that I'm in the minority and if I am able to attend the finals in person, it's affordable :)

    The big ticket item only comes around every 4 years but the Olympics and Paralympics seeing most of the world involved for a few weeks is amazing. Winter Olympics slightly less so but that may be because we don't get a lot of know in the UK. Apart from curling. And we get the Commonwealth Games as well.

    Whilst there are many other series I'd probably have to go with Doctor Who especially as many people believe (probably wrongly) that the Daleks were inspired by a Chimney Pot at a school local to me.

    Outlier here.  Not having TV since the I graduated high school over 40 years ago, I have no clue what is really on to give an opinion, but still like to watch a youtube or earlier Start Trek shows now and then.

    I'm always looking forward to watching One Piece and once I'm caught up, I'll be watching that one weekly. 

    Also looking forward to the new Kaiju no. 8 season this summer!

    My wife and I just finished rewatching Stranger Things in preparation for the final season that should (hopefully) come out this year.

    Also might rewatch Vikings or Suits this year, not a new show, but they are my favorite tv series so I'll never say no to giving them another watch!

    I just rewatched Suits too! I do the same thing with The West Wing, The Newsroom, Sports Night, Gilmore Girls, and a few others. I love fast banter and Aaron Sorkin and Amy Sherman-Palladino are fabulous at it.

    I'm mostly a passive sports fan (like going to local softball games, support the local NFL team, but it's not a top priority in my life), but I am super into the Olympics/Paralympics. Even I don't fully understand why I love it so much, but I do. Summer and winter equally.

    Aside from that, I really enjoyed Agatha All Along, and am looking forward to the new season of YOU (and of course, Stranger Things as many have said).

    I love watching USWNT soccer in big tournaments. Also a huge Olympic gymnastics fan. For TV... Bridgerton (I said what I said.... come at me ;-) ). I would also really like to see another season of Ted Lasso!!

    If I could experience it, I imagine I'd look forward to something like Stranger Things or The Mandalorian-those shows have such a huge fan following and offer that perfect mix of excitement and mystery. It's fun to get lost in a new season of something with such a dedicated audience.

    Yes! What are we supposed to do with our Saturdays during the off-season? They don't air college baseball like they do football or else I would just watch Alabama dominate the diamond too.
