Dear Team,

If the Genesys Cloud window is minimized, we need a mechanism to ensure agents are notified of incoming interactions. Is there any built-in option in Genesys Cloud, or is there a browser extension available that can provide alerts when the Genesys Cloud window is minimized?

Hello Muhammed,

Yes you can get desktop notifications by selecting Allow Pop-up Notifications but also make sure Notifications in the browser are enabled

In Chrome/Edge, you can verify this in Site Settings > Notifications

You may also want to make sure Windows Focus Assist & Do Not Disturb are not suppressing alerts.

Additionally, if agents frequently work with the browser minimized, the Genesys Cloud Desktop App is another option worth considering.
