Hi Althaaf ,
Here's what you can expect:
Before the exam
- Make sure your computer, webcam, microphone, and internet connection are working properly.
- Join the exam a little early in case there are any system checks.
- Have a government-issued photo ID ready for verification.
During the check-in process
- The proctor will typically verify your identity and ask you to show your testing environment.
- You may be asked to use your webcam to scan your desk, monitor area, and surrounding room.
- Remove phones, notes, additional monitors, and any unauthorized materials from your workspace.
During the exam
- The proctor monitors the session while you complete the test.
- Stay focused on the exam screen and avoid unnecessary movements.
- If you encounter a technical issue, communicate with the proctor immediately through the provided chat or communication channel.
For the GCP exam itself
- I found that understanding the concepts was much more important than memorization.
- Be comfortable with architecture, routing concepts, administration, core platform capabilities, reporting, workforce engagement fundamentals, integrations, and common use cases.
- Make sure you've gone through the official eBook and the linked Resource Center articles, as many exam objectives are covered there.
Biggest tip: Don't let the proctored environment make you nervous. The proctor's job is simply to maintain exam integrity, not to make the experience difficult. Once the exam starts, it feels very similar to taking any online assessment.
Good luck with your GCP exam! If you've studied the official material and can confidently explain the major Genesys Cloud concepts without referring to notes, you're probably in a good position to pass.
Thanks,
